About Tebala Shrine ...

The Tebala Shrine organization in Rockford, IL is affiliated with the Shriners of North America, an international fraternity of approximately half a million members which is best known for supporting the Shriners Hospitals for Children, a network of 22 hospitals that provide the highest quality care at NO COST.

The organization is committed to providing quality programs and services for its members, their families and friends in a spirit of fun, fellowship and social camaraderie.

In addition to member programs, the Tebala Shrine in Rockford organizes a number of community activities each year.  These include the Shrine Circus in early summer, the Blackhawk Vintage Classic in June, the Oldies Dinner Dance in August, and the Temple of Terror haunted house in October.

As part of its mission, the Tebala Shrine in Rockford also provides financial underwriting and other support to children from the community who qualify for treatment at Shriners Hospitals. A screening clinic will be held at the Tebala Temple building on September 29^th for children [young people who have not yet attained the age of 18] seeking to qualify for treatment at Shriners Hospitals for Children. There is no charge for the clinic.

Conveniently located immediately East of Interstate 90 (at 7910 Newburg Road in Rockford, Illinois 61108), the modern Tebala Shrine Temple building offers club, meeting and banquet facilities that, along with beverage and food service, are available for public rental with no membership requirements.
