The next screening clinic for children seeking to qualify for treatment at Shriners Hospitals for Children will be held from Noon to 3:00P.M. Saturday, March 1 at the Tebala Shrine Center, 7910 Newburg Road in Rockford (North Side of Newburg Road, immediately East of Interstate 90) in Rockford.

There is no charge for the screening and no advance appointment is required. Qualified applicants are accepted for treatment or hospitalization at Shriners Hospitals for Children without cost to either the patient or family.

This program is open to all young people who have not yet attained the age of 18, regardless of their race, creed or religion. Neither financial status nor the existence of a relationship to a Tebala volunteer are considered in the application process.

Volunteers will be available to help with completing paperwork. Parents or a legal guardian must accompany all applicants. In addition to a birth certificate and inoculation records, a copy of a divorce decree (when applicable) must be made available.
